Careers Involving Quantitative Skills Day

Sponsored by the College of Arts and Science and the Sonia Kovalevsky Fund

CIQS Day is a day to celebrate girls, women, and others in STEM. Students will visit ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ’s campus, interact with students and faculty, be exposed to presentations from various ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ academic departments, and be able to have conversations with working women in STEM fields with high-caliber quantitative skills.

Last year, for example, about 160 students participated in interactive workshops such as:
  • Social Media Analytics
  • Helicopter Design Challenge
  • Zipcodes, Barcodes, and UPCs
Both breakfast and lunch are included.
