Congratulations to Professor Nancy Parkinson, whose ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ Student Online Pantry Pick List Program has been successfully funded through the MIAMI Women Giving Circle Hawk Tank event! This initiative aims to combat nutrition insecurity among students at ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ by providing an accessible, discreet method for ordering and collecting essential food items like beans, rice, pasta, and peanut butter. The funding comes as a part of the 2024 Hawk Tank event, where Professor Parkinson's project was one of nine selected from 19 finalists. This support underscores the community's commitment to student wellness and marks a significant step towards inclusive campus support services.
