Institutional Relations | The Government Relations Network
ASPIRE develops, promotes, and tracks advocacy opportunities at all levels of government through the Government Relations Network (GRN). The GRN, among other things, provides public officials direct access to constituencies from across ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ.
Economy
ASPIRE seeks to establish ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ as a leader in Ohio for growing the economies and supporting efforts to promote an equitable, healthy, and sustainable quality of life in the communities where we work, live, and educate.
Strategic Initiatives
College@Elm
College@Elm is an entrepreneurship training and incubator center and space for a manufacturing operation as well as open collaboration and secure office spaces.
Work+ Program
Work+ is a program designed for ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ Regionals students to obtain an associate or bachelor's degree while working part-time and getting their tuition paid. Work+ makes it possible for a student to earn a college degree debt-free!
Microcredentials
Microcredentials are an exciting, new initiative happening on the ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ campuses. They are designed to create opportunities for anyone with an emerging educational (or skills) need - they can focus on broad, unmet needs in businesses, or they can be more focused on an individual’s need for a particular skill.
Government Relations
¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ aspires to empower students, alumni, and university friends to become engaged citizens who use their knowledge and skills with integrity and compassion to improve the future of ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ, the State of Ohio, and our global society through government relations.
