IT Services Goes to Orientation

Each year, IT Services attends First-Year Orientation. It’s a great way to interface with incoming first-year students and get information out there about some of the awesome services that we provide. In particular, the IT Communications and Customer Advocacy team gets out there and helps welcome the new students, along with some help from our friends.

But what really goes on during the Oxford Orientation sessions? Come along, and we’ll show you!

New phishing message about Microsoft accounts

¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ has become aware of a phishing attempt that many users are experiencing. This phishing message is asking recipients to verify their “Microsoft” accounts after claiming that the account has been set for deactivation.

Please be aware that this message was supposedly sent from a ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ email account, but it is a scam. Do not click on the link. If you have clicked the link, please reset your password ASAP at .

Reminder: Windows 10 EOL

Microsoft will be ending support for Windows 10 in October 2025. That means you’ll need to update any affected computer operating systems to Windows 11 before then in order to keep receiving security updates.
