Roughly 30% of all ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ undergraduate students are members of Greek organizations on campus. The four Governing Councils conduct recruitment independently of one another. The following links will provide more information about each process:
The Interfraternity Council (IFC) is the umbrella organization for recognized fraternities on campus. IFC consists of one representative from each fraternity and an executive board of 8 annually elected officers.
In order to join an IFC fraternity, you must have completed, at ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ or other accredited institution of higher education:
Student eligibility will be verified by the Cliff Alexander Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life prior to the chapter extending any form of invitation to membership. Only transcripts from the most recent institution attended will be considered. Once membership has been gained to a fraternity or sorority, it is up to each chapter to determine an individual's requirements to maintain membership.
The Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) was established in the Fall of 2021 and includes four nationally affiliated chapters. The Council is comprised of an annually elected executive council.
In order to join an MGC organization, you must have completed, at ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ or other accredited institution of higher education:

The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) is the governing body of traditionally African American fraternities and sororities. Seven chapters comprise ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ's National Pan-Hellenic Council.
In order to join an NPHC fraternity or sorority, you must have completed, at ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ or other accredited institution of higher education:

The Panhellenic Association (PA) includes eighteen nationally known sororities. The Panhellenic Association is comprised of an annually elected executive council and a delegate from each affiliated sorority.
