First-Year Student Scholarships

¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ Regionals offers scholarships to first-year students who meet certain criteria. Explore our scholarship options below.

Merit Scholarships

The data in the table below is based on full time, undergraduate, Ohio Resident tuition rates as of 2024-2025. Please refer to ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ Regionals tuition and fees page for tuition rates. Students entering ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ’s Regional campus merit awards as of Fall 2025, are based on the tuition promise rates for the 2026 cohort.

As a ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ Regionals merit scholarship recipient, $1,000 per academic year may be renewable based on maintained merit as a full-time continuing student (3.0 GPA).

Deadlines

  • Admission decisions will be based on the official testing and high school transcript information submitted to ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ Regionals at the time of application. Completed Admission applications received by February 1, 2025 will be considered for merit scholarship awards. Complete Admission application includes: Admission application, high school transcript and ACT/SAT scores.
  • A deadline of May 1, 2025 applies for applicants originally applying to the Oxford Campus, but who request their application be transitioned to ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ Regionals. The Oxford campus admission decision will not impact ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ Regionals admission or scholarship consideration. All Admission documents must be on file with the university by the Feb 1 deadline for consideration.

Policies

  • Merit scholarships will apply to the academic year in which the student has applied for Admission. If a student delays their enrollment from the initial application scholarship awards are not guaranteed.
  • As a merit recipient, students must maintain a 3.0 GPA and Full time enrollment (minimum 12 credits per semester) as an undergraduate student.
  • If a student is awarded a scholarship for the regional campuses then relocates to the Oxford campus, the student will no longer be eligible for the regional campus scholarship(s).

Additional Scholarships

College Credit Plus

The College Credit Plus Scholarship encourages CCP students to continue their college careers at ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ Regionals.

¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ Hamilton Promise

The ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ Hamilton Promise provides free tuition for 2-year and 4-year degrees to Pell Grant-eligible students attending Hamilton High School, Stephen T. Badin High School, or Butler Tech from Hamilton City School District and residing in the city of Hamilton.

¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ Middletown Rising Scholarship

The ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ Middletown Rising Scholarship provides free tuition for 2-year and 4-year degrees to Pell Grant-eligible students attending Marshall High School in Middletown, Middletown High School, Middletown Christian High School, Bishop Fenwick High School, or Butler Tech from Middletown City School District or a combination in grades 9-12 and graduated.

The scholarship can be used to pursue one or more degrees ranging from the associate level through the bachelor’s level to the graduate level. 

Wilks Scholarship

The Wilks Scholarship is open to students who will be taking courses on the Hamilton campus at ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ Regionals.
