In the Department

Each candidate's packet is assembled as follows:

1. Application (if applicable, include written documentation for approval for years waived or extensions granted to probationary period. Policy found here: Tenure and Time)
2. Chair’s/Program Director’s letter
3. Departmental P&T Committee’s letter
4. Dean of the Regional Campuses’ letter (if applicable)
5. Candidate’s dossier (Limit 20 pages formatted as described in Guidelines)
6. Sample letter requesting external review
7. A summary of external reviewers’ CVs limited to a total of two (2) pages
8. Letters from external reviewers

In the Dean's Office

1. The candidate's tenure and promotion packet
2. A separate PDF file that contains all previous annual evaluations (tenure only)

Notes

• Candidates shall be responsible for providing additional materials as required by the department and/or division.
• Hard copies of the candidate's packet including signed application may be required at the department and/or division level.
• In the event the Dean makes a negative recommendation, that correspondence should also be sent electronically to the Provost's Office.
