Online Program to Enhance Special Education Teaching and Learning

2020-2021 Boldly Creative Project

¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ is extending the reach of its successful master’s program in special education by making the program fully online.

Through new strategic partnerships with K-12 schools, this program meets the growing regional and statewide and regional demand for intervention specialists through innovative pathways to licensure and degree for school personnel.

This program also enhances and extends an existing partnership model to rural and urban school districts and Educational Service Centers (ESCs) to meet the high demand for intervention specialists throughout Ohio.

Impact:

Strong and sustainable K-12 partnerships will enhance the degree and licensure program by addressing issues of affordability and flexibility while also increasing diversity within the program and among teaching professionals.
