Preparing Engineers for Health-Related Careers
2020-2021 Boldly Creative Project
The new clinical engineering program at ¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ prepares students to deploy advanced medical devices, collect and analyze health-related information to mitigate a crisis, and build facilities and hospitals on the fly.
Examples of increased capacity include biomedical instrumentation, medical diagnostics, and surgical devices, bioinformatics, health informatics/data analytics, health informatics management, health care information technology and cyber-security, health information systems, project management, medical insurance, quality control, and regulatory affairs.
¾Ã¾ÃË®ÃÛÌÒ’s program will be the first such program in Ohio, the second in the Midwest, the third in the United States, and the fourth in North America.
